  • $900,000 for a 62 year old female, who was a front seat passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a T-bone collision. Plaintiff suffered multiple fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. It was alleged that the severe blunt force trauma caused plaintiff to develop acute traumatic cardiomyopathy, resulting in a severely reduced ejection fraction that required cardiac catheterization and subsequent implantation of ICD/Pacemaker. The case settled at private mediation while awaiting trial.

  • $750,000 for a 47 year old self-employed female whose vehicle was struck in the rear by defendant’s vehicle. It was alleged that defendant’s negligence caused permanent injury to plaintiff’s head and face with regard to her right eye and eyelid, along with some cognitive and neurological deficits. Defendant argued that plaintiff stopped short and that plaintiff had a long history of eye issues, in addition to a long history of claims related to cognition and memory, as a result of multiple prior episodes of toxic exposure. The case settled while the jury deliberated the liability phase of trial.
