Ana-Marija Turkovic

Ana-Marija Turkovic is a passionate and tenacious trial attorney at Sullivan Papain Block McManus Coffinas & Cannavo P.C., where she has focused her practice on medical malpractice litigation for nearly four years. She represents clients in some of the most complex and emotionally charged medical malpractice cases, including wrongful death, pediatric malpractice, nursing home negligence, surgical errors, and failures to diagnose cancer and other life-threatening conditions.

Since joining the firm, Ana-Marija has successfully resolved numerous cases involving delayed diagnoses, suicide due to medical negligence, failures to diagnose testicular torsion, and failures to diagnose infections. Her thorough preparation, fearless advocacy, and commanding courtroom presence have earned her a reputation as a rising force in medical malpractice litigation.

Ana-Marija earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2019 and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Fluent in both English and Croatian, she brings a personal and client-focused approach to every case she handles.

Outside the courtroom, Ana-Marija is actively involved in the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Women’s Bar Association, reflecting her strong commitment to professional development and the advancement of women in law.
