New York urologist Dr. Darius Paduch was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that he sexually abused multiple patients at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City between 2005 and 2018 and then at Northwell Health from 2019 until he was arrested in April 2023.
Many of Paduch's victims have filed civil lawsuits against the two hospitals claiming they knew or should have known about the abuse and continued to allow the doctor to see patients unattended. Prior patients say he had them masturbate in front of him, forced them to watch pornography, and touched them inappropriately. Many of his patients were minors at the time of the abuse.
