To the members of this firm, I was a NYC firefighter for 22 years and unfortunately was forced to retire due to 9-11 injuries. I used your firm to represent me with my VCF claim and I have to say you have given me and my family a real sense of security and happiness with the award I was granted. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done and especially Carmen Rodriguez, who was my attorney through the whole lengthy process and couldn’t be more professional and understanding during my many phone calls to her. Thank you very much and I will always recommend your firm to anyone.
Thank you for all your hard work. My whole family thanks you and your law firm.
– John P, Debbie, John C, and Thomas
Thank you for all your help and understanding in this matter. I hope that your home is always filled with happiness.

…From that first meeting with you in April 2012, until the last meeting with Glenn Nick recently, my experience has been exemplary and first-class in every way. As you know, Mr. Nick was assigned to my case. He immediately put all available resources into action to collect and document the facts, obtain and interview witnesses and, most importantly, to explain the legal process and counsel me, every step along the way. In all his interactions with my husband John and me, Glenn was the quintessential attorney. He always kept me fully informed of all developments in this protracted, and to me somewhat perplexing and unknown, procedure of litigation. Glenn quickly returned all my calls. He patiently responded to my many questions and concerns and would thoroughly explain any options available to me, including the relative advantages and disadvantages of each alternative. When asked, he would also offer his objective advice, regardless how elementary or complex the query. “Glenn was always there for me, as close as my telephone.”Based on my extensive experience with Mr. Nick during these three years-especially his irrepressibly poise, professionalism and caring personality-I would ardently recommend the services of your firm to any prospective client.
I wanted to say thank you. Not really sure how to do it. I have been thinking about how I could show my appreciation for all you have done for my family and myself. From my crying phone calls, my I don’t deserve this phone calls, you have been there to assure me I am doing the right thing. There isn’t a day that goes by that I have to deal with something that reminds me everyday I hope I am around to see my grandchildren. If not, you have helped me make sure they are going to be okay. I have shopped and trying to find something meaningful to give you to show my appreciation. Nothing seemed right. I was putting my two youngest boys Danny and John on the bus after we had talked about how you would call me and let me know when to come in. I have been thinking and thinking since that call what can I do. Okay now this may seem a little strange but I figured it out on the way home from the bus stop. When I was a boy I like rabbits. I received a pet rabbit from the Easter Bunny when I was seven. Named her Daisy (Bugs Bunnies girlfriend) and took great care of her. For my birthday my Grandmother who is no longer with us gave me a crystal bunny that I have had ever since. As I was walking home I saw two bunnies chasing each and then a third one. Something just clicked. I want you to have this crystal bunny (no backsies) as a sign of my thankfulness. I can’t think of anything that shows my appreciation more than this. My Grandmother was always an angel on my shoulder, a devout religious woman. I can’t think of anything that would make her happy up in heaven to know that I passed this on to another angel that took care of my family. She always ended every goodbye with, GOD BLESS.
Thank you for all you have done for myself and my family. I can’t imagine the amount of hours that was put in to obtain this award. “We will never forget (you)”.

I want to thank you and your associates at Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo for the time and effort put in to handling this case. I know navigating the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund was a long and arduous process, and I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude for all the hard work it took to secure this settlement. All the best!

Thanks – you really made a difference! I and my wife Debbie and my two sons John and Thomas say THANK YOU. This is for all to enjoy. Be well.
These two words, “thank” and “you”, took on a whole new meaning to express my thanks to someone for their help that I never knew could have existed to express gratitude after these three words “you have cancer” entered my world.
You and your firm’s many hours of work on my behalf yet again transformed my perspective to that expression for the incredibly enormous and ongoing tasks and challenges many people took on (both in front of and behind the scenes) to help me create a new life for myself.
I appreciate your words yesterday to help me place my focus on moving ahead instead of living in the past and holding myself back with regret. I’m in a much better mindset now.
Hi Nick, We just wanted to thank you for all of your advice and hard work. Its been a pleasure working with you over the past few years! We’re lucky you took our case. Wishing you all the best!

Hi Wendell. I want to let you know that I will always be grateful for all you have done for me. You are a truly great person. I will be in touch and look forward to seeing you soon. THANK YOU!!!!
Dear Mr. Sullivan,
I had the pleasure of working with attorney, Beth Jablon. I found her to be attentive, diligent, intelligent, and caring. Her knowledge of my lawsuit protected me from taking an offer that would have been less than what I should have received. The culmination of my case, due to Beth’s hard work, affords me the ability to feel secure in my future. All I can say is a humble, “Thank you.”
They say to be a good doctor, you have to know your stuff and should have good bedside manners. I believe lawyers do too. You made me feel very confident and comfortable. Thank you for a job well done.
Rick & Ramy S.
Thank you kindly for all your hard work and efforts.
Good afternoon Wendell…Thank you for all your hard work and patience with my emails and questions. I hope I was not too much as I always tried to have as much patience as possible. Your assistant did reach out to me several weeks ago and gave me a verbal update, which was right on the money with the timeline. I guess the re-authorization of the Zadroga Bill really helped with my situation, but a lot of thanks go out to you and everyone at Sullivan, Papain, & Block…

The greatest expression of love is when a person gives his time to another. This is time that you cannot take back. It is a gift you cannot see, or hear. Most of the time it is not appreciated. To give your time and expertise; to offer it when not even needed is a precious gift. Thanks is short, but I mean it sincerely. I am totally grateful for your “jack-out-of-the box” ambition.
P.S. Thanks for letting me enjoy my Christmas better then I expected
Thank you to all of you.
Mr. Papain – Mr. Block – Mr. Sullivan
Thank you all.
– Chris and Jackie

I would like to thank you once again for your tenacity and unwavering belief that this could be accomplished. You are truly the exemplar of what every lawyer could be. I will always think of you in this way. This has been a very difficult journey for me, at times I felt completely unable to move forward. You have been a beacon along my path. I am just beginning to find some traction with the help of many very dedicated individuals like yourself. I will be forever grateful.
Please forgive me for taking so long to thank you for your extraordinary help, professionalism and, more important, your sincere kindness to me and my family these past two years. Like most of your clients, my husband suffered a horrific, painful death. And while no amount of money can assuage that pain, knowing that he had someone fighting for his family provided him a great measure of comfort. You, my dear, were that person and you and your associates treated all of us with the utmost concern and respect. For that, I will be forever grateful.I have been struggling with grief over these many months that has left me sort of “stuck” in a way that I’ve never felt before. In short, I haven’t felt like myself – haven’t been on my game. And, so, I haven’t been able to thank you properly. Every time I would start to put together a thank you, I couldn’t finish. My husband’s death was just too raw.You and your associates went above and beyond for me with your common sense advice. In a world of mediocrity, your ‘smarts’ shone through – loud and clear. You were a quiet Angel in my midst during the worst time of my life and I will never forget you.May God Bless you and your kind ‘sidekicks’ today and always.
