On Dec. 7, 2022, SPBMCC Partner Glenn W. Nick successfully secured a $750,000 settlement for a man who was stopped at a red light and struck by another vehicle.
Man Sustained Injuries After Being Struck At A Red Light
On Jan. 21, 2020, the plaintiff was operating a van that was stopped at a red light in Brooklyn, New York when the defendant struck the rear of the van, causing the plaintiff to sustain injuries to his knee and back. Both injuries required surgical intervention.
Partner Glenn W. Nick Secures $750,000 Settlement for Plaintiff’s Injuries
SPBMCC Partner Glenn W. Nick represented the plaintiff in this case and filed a motion for summary judgment, which the Court granted. A favorable settlement was obtained with the assistance of NAM Mediator Susan Hernandez while the case was still on the trial calendar. The suit was filed in New York State Supreme Court, Kings County.
