The magazine noted his work on numerous high-profile cases, including being the chief trial counsel for the plaintiffs in the Agent Orange Class Action lawsuit and representing more than 2 million Vietnam veterans in their claims against seven chemical companies, and several multi-million wins, including a $92 million judgment against the City of New York for using excessive police force, a verdict against the Transit Authority for $28.5 million for a woman who sustained a severe leg injury after getting struck by a train, $25 million for a laborer injured at a worksite, and $24.5 million for a man who tripped on the stairs of an apartment building causing him to become a paraplegic.
Other key accomplishments highlighted include being the lead trial attorney at the civil trial of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, where he obtained an unprecedented verdict against the New York Port Authority for its failure to take steps to prevent the terrorist attack.
