On Nov. 15, 2023, SPBMCC Attorney Beth Jablon successfully recovered $500,000 for a man who sustained multiple facial fractures in a motor vehicle crash.
19-Year-Old Man Suffers Serious Injuries Following Crash
In September 2020, the plaintiff was the front-seat passenger in a one-car collision. The defendant driver drove off the road into a tree, claiming foggy weather made it difficult to see. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff lost consciousness temporarily and self-extricated before the car caught on fire. He sustained multiple facial fractures, including fractures of the nasal bones, a left orbital floor fracture, and a maxillary fracture. Due to his injuries, he underwent open reduction surgery of the nasal septal fracture approximately six months after the accident.

The plaintiff sought representation at SPBMCC, and Beth Jablon acted as the responsible and settling attorney on the case. The case was settled before jury selection in Suffolk County Court for $500,000 to compensate for the plaintiff’s pain and suffering.
