SPBMCC Partner Mark Apostolos Successfully Recovers $1.25 Million For Motor Vehicle Accident Victim

On March 25, 2022, SPBMCC Partner Mark Apostolos secured a $1.25 million settlement for a motor vehicle accident victim who suffered a serious shoulder injury which required two surgeries to treat.

Victim of Rear-End Collision Sustains Shoulder Injury 

In October of 2015, a man was driving in New York when he was rear-ended by another driver. The victim survived the crash but suffered a serious shoulder injury which required two surgeries to repair the damage inflicted. Following the surgeries, the victim was unable to return to his union job due to the seriousness of his injuries.

Firm Partner Mark Apostolos Successfully Obtains $1.25 Million For Motor Vehicle Accident Victim

The motor vehicle accident victim sought out legal representation through SPBMCC. Firm Partner Mark Apostolos represented the victim in court.

The defendants claimed that the accident did not cause the victim’s shoulder injury based on the manner in which the accident occurred. Firm Partner Mark Apostolos argued that the victim’s shoulder injury was indeed caused by the car accident and that it precluded him from returning to his union position. Because of his residual ailments, the accident victim had to seek a lower-paying job. Apostolos was ultimately successful and obtained $1.25 million for his client on March 25, 2022.
